What are Case Battles?
Case Battle is a game mode that allows you to compete with other users in case opening in our service. Battles have a mode for two, three or four users and can be played in a maximum of 50 rounds. In normal mode, the user who won skins with the highest total value, will win the battle and receive skins drawn by other users participating in the battle. In Underdog mode, the winner will be the player with the lowest total skin value.
To join the battle just go to the “Case Battle” tab. Then choose one of the available battles you are interested in and click the “JOIN THE BATTLE” button. You will be redirected to the battle tab where you can choose your place in the battle.
After choosing your place in the battle, click the “JOIN THE BATTLE” button at the chosen place. After this, you will join the battle and funds for participating in the battle will be automatically deducted from your balance.
To create the battle, go to the “Case Battle” tab and click the “Create Battle” button at the right corner of the tab. You will be redirected to the battle creation panel where you can configure what cases you want to be in the battle, how many users can participate in the battle and that is the battle should be available publicly or to be private.
After you configure your battle, just click the “Create Battle” button. After that your battle will be created and you automatically will participate in the battle. Funds for creating and participating in the battle will be automatically deducted from your balance.
Classic battles - a mode where the player with the highest total skin value wins.
Underdog battles - a mode where the player with the lowest total skin value wins.
Case Battle modes can be applied to 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 battles.
Borrow Mode allows you to create or join a Case Battle even if you don’t have the funds for the cases in the battle. With Borrow, you can borrow up to 90% of the battle value from Key-Drop. Your reward will be lowered appropriately (e.g. if you borrow 50% of the skin, you will get 50% of the reward if you win, if you borrow 70%, you will receive 30% of the reward, etc.)
2v2 Battles allow you to compete with a player or a bot against a team of opponents (players or bots as well). Any winnings you win with your teammate will be split in 2, so for example, if you win $100 worth of skins, you will receive a skin worth $50 and so will your teammate.
3v3 Battles are a mode for up to six players. In the 3v3 mode, two teams compete, each consisting of three players (or bots). Winnings are evenly divided among team members—if the total win is a skin or skins worth $150, each player/bot from the winning team will receive a skin worth $50 ($150 divided by 3 equals $50).
Private battles in Case Battle mode can be created by any user. If you create a private battle, only those who receive a special link from you will have access to the battle.
Private battles, are also not visible in the list of active battles. The link received allows anyone with the required amount of funds in their account to join a battle.
Every battle can end in a couple of ways.
In the case you win the battle, you receive skins drawn by yourself and the other users. Items will be automatically added to your inventory in our service after the battle ends.
In case you lose the battle, users who lost the battle will receive cashback for participating in the battle. The value of the cashback depends on the rules selected up by the battle creator. Cashback will be automatically added to the balance after the battle ends.
There is a possibility that the battle will end in a draw between users who received the skins with the highest value. In this case our system will select the winner based on their total Provably Fair roll value. In Classic mode, the highest roll wins, in Underdog, the lowest roll. The value is displayed here:
Cashback is given only to the users who participated in the battle and lost it. The amount of cashback is specified when the battle is created and depends on the number of players participating in the battle. The cashback is provided in the form of a skin or a voucher to be used on our website.
The battle can be canceled if there is only one user in it. That means that when there are no other users who want to participate in the battle, the battle can be canceled by the last one user who participates in it. If you cancel the battle, funds you used for participating in the battle will automatically return to your balance.
There is a possibility to leave the battle if it has not already started. If a battle has the required number of participants, it will start automatically and is considered to have been played. In this case, there is no option to leave the battle anymore.
In the case you have any problem with the battle, please contact our support team that will help you to solve the problem. In the message, give us a detailed description of the problem and the ID of the battle that can be found in the battle tab, next to the “Provably Fair” button.
